Doctor of Biblical Restoration
Ecclesiastical Doctorate
The Doctor of Biblical Restoration is an advanced ecclesiastical doctorate offered by Yahuah Institute of Biblical Restoration. This doctoral program is designed for those who have completed comprehensive master-level formation and seek the highest level of disciplined engagement with Scripture and the pursuit of Yada Yahuah.
This doctorate follows a formation-first model. It is not accelerated, modular, or credential-driven. Doctoral authority is earned through extended canonical formation, demonstrated mastery of Scripture, and original contribution through research and writing.
All instruction and formation are religious in nature and conducted fully online.
Mandatory Foundation: MBRS Requirement
Completion of the Master of Biblical Restoration Studies (MBRS) is a non-negotiable prerequisite for entry into the Doctor of Biblical Restoration pathway.
- No equivalency is accepted
- No stages may be skipped
- No alternative entry routes exist
The MBRS establishes the foundational restoration framework, scriptural discipline, and covenant understanding required for advanced doctoral formation.
Structure of the Doctoral Pathway
The Doctor of Biblical Restoration follows a three-part structure:
- Post-Master Doctoral Formation (mandatory, non-credentialed)
- Doctoral Candidacy and Research Preparation
- Doctoral Research and Dissertation / Teaching Corpus
Completion of the formation stages qualifies the student to enter doctoral candidacy; it does not constitute completion of the doctoral degree.
Part I — Doctoral Formation Stages
(Post-MBRS | Mandatory | No Certificates or Degrees Granted)
Doctoral formation consists of sequential, canon-wide specialization stages. These stages are required preparation for doctoral candidacy and are designed to ensure depth, continuity, and full-Scripture mastery.
No certificates, titles, or degrees are awarded during these stages.
Stage I — Pentateuch Formation
Duration: 9–12 months
This stage establishes deep mastery of the Torah as the foundation of all scriptural understanding. Emphasis is placed on creation, covenant structure, humanity, and the foundations of redemption.
Stage II — Historical and Prophetic Writings Formation
Duration: 9–12 months
This stage focuses on covenant history, prophetic accountability, judgment, restoration, and continuity within Yahuah’s plan. Students engage in long-form synthesis of historical and prophetic material.
Stage III — Apocryphal and Second Temple Writings Formation
Duration: 6–9 months
This stage examines intertestamental writings and their doctrinal significance, including corruption, continuity, and restoration themes. Careful integration with canonical Scripture is required.
Stage IV — Gospels and Apostolic Writings Formation
Duration: 9–12 months
This stage addresses fulfillment, covenant continuity, and apostolic witness. Emphasis is placed on coherence between Torah, Prophets, and Apostolic writings.
Stage V — Teachings of Yahusha ha Mashiyach
This capstone formation stage integrates all prior study. Focus is placed on authority, restoration, fulfillment, and embodied covenant understanding through the teachings of Yahusha ha Mashiyach.
Part II — Doctoral Candidacy and Research Preparation
Upon completion of all doctoral formation stages, the student may be reviewed for doctoral candidacy.
Doctoral Candidacy Review
Duration: 1–2 months
This review confirms readiness for original doctoral research and verifies full completion of formation requirements.
Doctoral Research Seminar
Duration: 3–6 months
This phase refines the research question, establishes methodology, and defines the intended contribution of the doctoral work.
Part III — Doctoral Research and Dissertation / Teaching Corpus
Doctoral Dissertation or Teaching Corpus
Duration: 18–24 months
This phase represents the formal doctoral work. The student produces an original contribution demonstrating full-canon mastery, disciplined synthesis, and restored scriptural understanding.
Doctoral authority is demonstrated through substance, clarity, and faithfulness to Scripture—not through acceleration or assumption.
Total Time Commitment (Post-MBRS)
- Minimum realistic timeline: approximately 5.5 years
- Recommended formation timeline: approximately 6.5–7 years
Accelerated completion is not offered.
